Over the past 22 years the chamber has remained very active in promoting bi-lateral trade and hosting Government officials from Australia and Croatia.

• Members of the Chamber of Commerce attended a luncheon with Alexander Downer, Foreign Minister and his counterpart the Croatian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Picula. Ongoing issues in relation to Pension & Tax Treaties.
• The Chamber was pleased to co host a luncheon with The Council for International Trade & Industry for the Croatian Minister for Agriculture, Minister Pankretic.
• The Chamber also arranged a visit for the delegation to Pt. Lincoln to inspect tuna farm operations.
• In October 2003 the Chamber worked in conjunction with a number of community organizations to bring 8 year old Leo Pucic to Adelaide, for surgery at the Women’s & Children’s Cranio Facial Unit.
• Chamber President David Tudorovic attended multiple functions, as a Board Member of the Council for International Trade and Commerce.
• Rob Soda was elected President of the Chamber of Commerce.
• A forum was hosted by the Council of International Trade & Commerce SA (CITCSA) in
conjunction with the Australian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce & Industry SA Inc. The aim of the evening was to promote business opportunities that exist in Croatia for
Australian exporters, along with launching a trade mission that the Chamber led at the Zagreb
Trade Fair, held between the 8th to 18th of September 2005.
• Guests were welcomed by CITCSA Chairperson, Mr Nick Begakis and Chamber President Rob
Soda . The evening's key speakers were immediate past President of the Chamber, Mr David
Tudorovic, the Attorney-General of SA & Minister for Multicultural Affairs, the Hon. Michael
Atkinson MP, and the State Manager of Austrade SA/NT, Mr Chris Rees.
• Other notable attendees were the Leader of the State Opposition, the Hon Rob Kerin MP, and
the Labor member for Norwood, Ms. Vini Cicarello.
• The Chamber had a successful trip to the Zagreb Autum Trade Fair with six South Australian
Companies participating. The Gala dinner and investment seminar was held in conjunction
with the Adriatic Sail Regatta, with over 100 Australian participants.
• The Australian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce & Industry SA Inc undertook a project to
complete a refreshed version of the South Australian-Croatian Business Directory, previously
completed in 1997. A decade had passed since the original directory was published.
• The Chamber assisted the Croatian representatives for the Robocup Robotics program in
September 2015.
• We responded to countless email enquiries from interested trade partners and assisted them
by successfully guiding them to Austrade for assistance.
• David Tudorovic was re-elected as President of the Chamber.
• The Chamber attended the G2 conference in Croatia in October 2016, along with 14 delegates
from across Australia. The SA Chamber hosted a breakfast with Ambassador Cox and
Ambassador Kusen in Zagreb, Chamber President David Tudorovic represented our business
community.

• In July 2017 David Tudorovic had the privilege to represent the Chamber during a trade
delegation led by Former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop to Zagreb.
• In August 2017 at a meeting in Sydney hosted by the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-
Kitarovic, the four Australian Chambers (NSW, VIC, SA, WA) and the Zagreb Chamber of
Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Co-operation.
• Covid caused the Chamber to restrict operations until 2022.
• Chamber President David Tudorovic attended Gala Dinner with Former President Kolinda
Grabar Kitarovic in Sydney, celebrating 30 years of Australian-Croatian relations in March
2022.

• The four Chambers of Commerce SA, NSW, VIC and WA commence monthly online meetings
in conjunction with The Australian Ambassador to Croatia and Croatian Ambassador to
Australia.
• Lobbying continued for a Double Tax Treaty, with a successful outcome. Negotiations
commenced in 2023 and are due to be completed by 2025.
• The Chamber hosted Gordan Girlic Radman, the Croatian Foreign Minister, in 2023 in
Adelaide.
• Chamber President David Tudorovic was appointed Honorary Consul for the Republic of
Croatia in South Australia.
David Tudorovic is CEO of a group of companies owned by the Tudorovic Family.
The Group consists of the Tudor Holdings Pty. Ltd. operating in Australia, and Arsenal Holdings
d.o.o. in Croatia.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of South Australia in 1987,
David commenced work with KPMG Chartered Accountants in Adelaide. David spent two years in
the Adelaide Audit Division, before moving to the Sydney Insolvency Division, where he completed
his professional year of study, and gained membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Following two years in London, David returned to Adelaide, to join the family business in 1991.The
Group at the time encompassed Davalan Concrete ( premix concrete) Tudor Pavers ( Brick
manufacturer) Tudor Civil (Local Government Contracting), Cooke Pre Cast Concrete Pty. Ltd.,
(manufacturer of pre cast concrete drainage products) and Trenel Pty.Ltd. (production of sands &
aggregates).
Between 2017 and 2020, the Tudorovic family sold its interests in three South Australian companies,
Davalan Concrete was sold to Adelaide Brighton Cement Ltd. , Cooke Pre Cast to private equity and
Trenel Sands to a local producer.
The family has an maintained its interest in the Spencer Gulf Prawn Fishing Industry, and is actively
involved in property development and investment in South Australia.
In Croatia, the family’s holding company, Arsenal Holding d.o.o, holds a controlling interest in the
resort company, Ilirija d.d. This company owns and operates four, 4 Star hotels (1100 beds) and
three Marinas (total berths 750), camping grounds (1000 parcels) and associated tourism assets, in
the Adriatic resort town of Biograd.
Following a number of years of strong growth for the Resort Company Ilirija d.d., the company was
listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange in 2015, with the Tudorovic Family maintaining a 65% stake.
The company continues to expand, with plans for new Marinas, and increased Hotel capacity. In
2016, the company acquired the 27,000m2 City Galleria Mall in Zadar.
David has been involved in a number of community and business organisations, including The
Council for International Trade & Commerce Inc, Australian Croatian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (S.A.),
Croatian Sports Centre and Croatian Community Council .
In 2024 David was appointed Honorary
Consul for the Republic of Croatia to South Australia.
David, his wife Monica, and their three daughters, currently divide their time between Europe and
Australia.
